❓ Why? Young people in Madagascar are protesting against water and electricity cuts, corruption, and the government's failure to listen to their daily struggles.

STEP 1 - Madagascar: first impressions
Madagascar is a large island located in the Indian Ocean, near Africa. More than 30 million people live there, and the main languages are Malagasy and French. It is a country known for its unique nature, with animals such as lemurs and chameleons.
The movie Madagascar (2005) tells an entertaining story about zoo animals who arrive on the island. The film shows colorful landscapes and extraordinary animals.
Today, Madagascar is also experiencing difficult times, such as protests in the capital city of Antananarivo. These events bring together citizens who want to express their ideas and needs.

Now, to get a good idea of the reality in Madagascar, you are going to watch two videos:
